Watering is best done (if possible) by submerging the entire root system in water. Water weekly in the summer, and once every ten days in the winter; if soaking fifteen minutes is enough. Add liquid plant food, rich in nitrogen, every 3rd watering during the growing season (spring and summer).

(Roy) Parke, Jr. after immigrating from Northern Ireland in 1924, expanded to hundreds of acres in Plant City, FL, specializing in strawberries, citrus, and vegetables.In 1969, Roy's daughter Cheryl and her husband Jim Meeks opened Parkesdale Farm Market, now Florida's largest for strawberries, citrus, and produce.Three generations have continued the commitment to delivering high-quality products in demand nationwide.
